What is DCP?

DCP (Distributed Cloud Platform) is a unified platform for managing distributed cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters (DKS) and virtual machines (DC2).

What regions are available?

DCP is available in multiple regions worldwide. Check the Service Tiers page for current availability.

How do I get started?

DKS

How many clusters can I create?

The number of clusters depends on your service tier. See Limits & Quotas for details.

Can I use my own Kubernetes version?

Yes, DKS supports multiple Kubernetes versions. Select your preferred version when creating a cluster.

How do I access my cluster?

DC2

What operating systems are supported?

DC2 supports Linux images available in the Operating System Image selector during instance launch.

What lifecycle actions are available for a VM?

Yes, you can resize VMs. Some resizes may require a restart. See Launch an Instance for details.

How do I backup my VM?

Use snapshots to backup your VMs. See Manage Snapshots for snapshot management.

Billing

How am I billed?

DCP uses usage-based billing. You're charged for:
